Semaphore Signal 8842

Probably the most identifiable semaphore on the line because of its location next to I-25 and the metropolitan Albuquerque area. In fact, it is the only semaphore that can be spotted easily from the freeway until Las Vegas (others can be seen, but you have to know where to look). In the background is the Bernalillo plasterboard factory and, of course, I-25. Only 20 years ago this area was open fields.
